ProgressiveAE (biology mgt company that coordinates the invasive milfoil treatment at Long Lake) has recently completed another survey of the lake after this summer’s treatment. They have found new areas of growth as well as one location that was not treated. Therefore, they will treat these new areas on Tuesday September 6. The 24 hour swimming restriction will be back in place. You may notice small orange buoys marking the areas for treatment.
