Agreed to try and obtain additional email addresses of CLLAA members – talk with neighbors when possible vs going door to door

Jeff Ehlers will label the marker buoys and drop 1-2 days before Progressive AE surveys. Will also confirm they are marking with GPS

Adding email discussion at CLLAA annual meeting – Fred Schramm can discuss (need to cover with Fred)

By Law consolidation (current version) to be added to website

If time permits will add minor word changes and cover at annual meeting

Dan Whiting to check on adding signs to boat ramp (100 ft. brochure, additional parking directions)

Jeff Sherman to check on costs for color printing 50-100 “100 ft. boating rules” brochure from Michigan Lakes & Stream. Ed Delana has received permission to reprint

Discussed and amended email note to members regarding use of phosphorus free fertilizer on lawns (emailed to membership 5/7/2022)

Discussed Tip of the Mitt Shoreline discussion at annual meeting

30 minute max – purpose to educate & communicate Tip of the Mitt’s concepts

Use real property examples – Dave Brodstein, Jeff Sherman, other board members

Jeff Ehlers reviewed his ride on the Little Traverse Bay Odawa shock boat and explained the tribal fishing rules as they apply to Long Lake. Email sent (May 8)  to LTB Odawa biologist to invite them to the CLLAA annual meeting for a 20 minute presentation

Dave Brodstein to check with Ken Pletcher on cost of liability insurance for CLLAA

Dave Brodstein to check with DNR regarding walleye stocking for 2022 – he confirmed they (DNR) are scheduled to plant in June

Jeff Sherman agreed to check with Tip of the Mitt regarding impact of road/driveway brine solution

Jeff Sherman to discuss with Camp Walden their participation with the CLLAA board. Will also follow up with 2nd boat concert (possibly longer) on the shore at Camp Walden and Flat Rock High School

Complaint regarding feeding of ducks and swimmers itch. Announcement to be made at annual meeting. Similar issue took place in years past. Jeff Sherman to pull old documents.

Formal annual meeting agenda will be drafted and sent to board for review.
