Annual Meeting MINUTES
June 28, 2025
Location: Aloha Township Hall
Welcome
Coffee and Donuts 8:00-8:30 (purchased at Aloha General Store)
Meeting called to order at 8:30 a.m.
Pledge of Allegiance
Membership Introductions (name, street, # of years at the lake) – all in attendance participated
Treasurer Message: financials posted to website
Discussed membership drive, will send out email to all residents. Many may not know about CLLAA
Progressive AE – Luke Arron
Overview of program and 2025 survey results and treatment plans.
Eurasian Watermilfoil – No treatment was needed in Spring 2025
Water clarity 19-28ft, very clear lake.
Board of Directors Election (odd year 2025)
President – Jeff Sherman
Secretary– Fred Schramm
District 1 – Kim & Brian Bates (Hayes Rd, off Little Canada Dr. to 5276 Hiawatha Dr)
District 3 – Jeff Ehlers (4938 Hiawatha to 4696 Hiawatha, including Nokomis Trail)
District 5 – Dave Critzer (Hiawatha 4664 South, Long Lake, Beacon Lane, Yates, Michakewa)
District 7 – Matt Boik (Agnes Rd., Manning Rd., and Lakeland Dr.) – Note: You do not need to be a resident in a district to represent it
All nominations were accepted with no dissenters. A call for a vote was brought forward. 100% of attendees approved the nominations.
Look Nesting Platform Update
- Presented a Video of project
- 3 reported loons
- A second nesting platform to be build this winter.
- Please report if you see babies
Other Lake Business
- Aloha Township –
- Last Thursday of the month is free trash day
- Pallister Rd landfill is still available by contacting Chuck Maziasz
- 4th of July Boat Parade (Chuck Maziasz) -1:00 start at Camp Walden.
- August Camp Walden Boat Concert – Flat Rock Marching Band – Friday Aug 15th 5:00 PM
- Reminder for Wake Boats to use the middle of the lake.
